Backwards compatible games cross platform?

Hey I don’t have much time to get on waypoint lately so if this has already been addressed or if I missed an announcement about this I apologize.
Will I be able to play the backwards compatible Halo titles online with people who are still playing on the 360? Thanks in advance.

Oh alright, I can’t find a definitive statement from MS or 343 saying if we will be playing on the same servers with people who are on the 360. If I’m playing on my Xbox One i guess when i load up a back compatible game it does basically load me into the 360 emulator so it seems logical. Thanks.
