Since the 360 titles came onto the backwards compatibility list but what about the original Xbox titles?
Apparently the MCC versions are a bit different but playing the original again would be pretty nostalgic.
You cant play them in Xbox One. The only way to play them online is in their pc versions (Halo custom edition and Halo 2 project cartographer) or via xlink in the OG Xbox (only halo 2).

I wish they were BC too but the backwards compatibility team at Microsoft/Xbox deals with this. What I do is play them on my original Xbox or Xbox 360 but I know that isn’t an option for everyone.
I like to play them a lot these days still ! But Halo 3 won’t let me connect to Xbox Live anymore since today
