I noticed when I was playing a match on Summit some of my teammates had ran to the second armory, ignoring the fortress. As we killed the opponents, they just simply never showed back up. On the red team I’ve sometimes been spawned super far back, like main base back. I didn’t check theater after the match because I was with a team, but I tried to put 2 and 2 together, is moving back to the second base the cause of spawning so far as the red team? I figured it also could be to get an early cap, but I smell something more sinister.
The spawns may just be jacked up too.
This has been happening for a while now I think. I sorta like it. As time goes on it will take more time to return to the base under attack. Sometimes though, it’s just too much. Use Apex 7 as an example. When the core is under attack, the attacking team can sometimes spawn in the spire (or the area around it). It’s sometimes what screws you over.
Spawns are a bit crazy in warzone. Doesn’t make sense how th attacking team gets super close yet defenders are a mile away.
Apex seems to be the worst about it

Actually, the reason it spawns you at the spire as attackers is because you can enter the back of the base. A lot of people don’t seem to know this.

…or don’t know how to make the jumps

If it requires me to search YouTube for a video that maps out this path then it’s not a good spawn point. Put me back on the beach so I can go round 3 with that pesky marine on the stairs.

No it doesn’t? Just go in the back way instead of the front? I actually like it when I get spawned at the spire on Apex. Everyone forgets to guard the back.

I found this out without Youtube.

But you can jump into the back of the core from here
