Back to Halo 3 and Halo Reach

After the launch of Halo 5 I’ve spent currently about 200 hours in the game. For the most part the multiplayer was fun, and I was always on the top of my team. After about the first 75 hours the arena was getting a bit dull I finally dived into Warzone for the first time (minus the matches I played on day one to get some GS). It was amazing and thought wow this is a great break from arena. About 50 hours later, I came back to arena and got into a match in Team Arena. Within a minute, two teammates left and the other one was a team killer. The enemy team took an easy lead, and ended up winning 3 to 0(CTF, one of the few times I actually got to play). This was a very awful moment for me but I knew in my heart that the matches after would be different. They weren’t, and they haven’t been since slightly after social came out. I am done with Halo 5, I’ll play here and there, but for the most part I will go back to Halo 3(MCC, got rid of my 360) and Halo Reach. Reach is still fun and it has infection, something Halo 5 lacks. Halo 3 will never be old and is still my favorite to this day. Until 343 can provide a game where every match doesn’t have team quitters I wont be on Halo 5 a whole lot.

Both of witch sucked -Yoink-.

Quitters do ruin the game though.

ew gross, youre playing the Backwards compatibility version of Reach. How can anyone play that when it has a ton of framerate issues and input lag?

Seriously 343, just add Reach to MCC

lol to the glitchy reach, wont be playing it till they get that ironed out, have fun though

People quit because 343 forces us to play the map THEY choose, the gametypes THEY choose, and on top of that has completely unfair matches, AND full parties vs Randoms.

These are design flaws. When people could select maps/gametypes quitting wasn’t as bad. With map/gametype voting at least the MAJORITY of the party is happy. With H5’s system, NO ONE can be happy when Overgrowth slayer comes up for the 5th time in a row. It’s ridiculous/inexcusable.

Full Onyx team vs. Diamond randos on Overgrowth. -Yoink-, we’re all quitting.

Wasn’t it only a few months ago that everyone was complaining about the quitters in mcc? There was even a glitch to boost your rank! How nice(:

That has nothing to do with the amount of quitters. When the veto and voting systems where there people would still quit over the map they didn’t choose got loaded up. Hell I even think it was worse back in the day then today!

I despise the voting system. You literally play the same map forever. I HATE various Halo maps because of this. If the rotation system actually rotated the maps, it would be great. I could never stand playing the same maps twice in any game. I do agree with you about the matches being unfair. I have lost so many games to Onyx players when I was a diamond I.

Do what you gotta do. Just out of curiosity did you play Halo 5 on another account because I’m only counting you playing for 70 hours not 200.

What does this even mean? Because the MP maps go in a cycle? Technically speaking, even if we had the ability to vote, they still choose the maps we vote for.

Choice is an illusion here. Always has been.

I always hated being able to choose maps. The majority of people always picked the same things over and over again.

i went back and played reach and thanks to 5’s spartan abilities i felt reach was too slow paced

It just goes to show, content >>>>>>>>> 60fps.

People are willing to put up with sub 30fps to be able to play infection, LAN, SS, and all the missing gametypes.

I mainly play Halo 5 but now and again I go back and play different Halo titles, I would rather have the option to play every Halo than restrict myself to only one or two games.

too bad everyone lost their mythic disc’s, i still has mine, and i still play, though BTB is empty because it requires dlc now. they seriously should give the other titles the “free” treatment.

I would rather play reach over H3. But still play h5 over all but h2

As much as I hate team quitting, I agree. Usually, I would say out up a fight, but that is pointless as you will get demoted anyway. The amount of times I have been deranked due to quitters though is infuritating, hence why I don’t play arena so much, even though I love it.

There is no cycle if you get the same map and gametype 3 times in a row.

Go back and play Halo: Reach for the immense amount of features. Campaign matchmaking, custom Firefight, armor effects, nameplates, playable Elites, good color options, forging Invasion, the list goes on.
