Achievement is as describes:
Halo CE: Play a CTF custom game on Blood Gulch with 4 players on the same console. Tri-tip optional.
Problem with this is that in today’s day and age it is not feasible nor practical for a person to own four controllers anymore. It essentially asks achievement hunters to go and spend an additional $60+ per controller.

The benefit of having IRL friends is to do IRL things with them. I don’t make friends IRL just to interact with online, I have IRL friends to watch my kids and go out with. I’m not in high school anymore.
I don’t have to look to far to see that all you do on here is complain about co-op and troll other people’s threads. So as you so kindly put it, if online co-op is so bad… why not actually have IRL friends to come over and do it with?

That’s the whole point of the achievement… to have four people playing split screen… like what had to be done “back in the day” if you wanted to play with all your buddies. How do you not understand this? The fact that you can’t find people to do it (or an easy/cheap way to cheat the system for your achievement) doesn’t actually matter. The purpose of the achievement is to actually play with four people on one screen, not log in three dummy accounts so you can receive pretend awards points.
The point isn’t that YOU own four controllers, it’s that three of your buddies come over with their controllers and you all play Halo: CE together as if it were ten years ago.
I don’t know how to explain this any clearer. If you still pretend not to understand the point of the achievement, you’re a troll. They wont change the achievement, otherwise it wouldn’t be called “Back in the Day” it would be called “Here’s a Free Achievement, Dummy”
P.S. I did this ALL THE TIME “back in the day”. I never owned four controllers. All my buddies came over, whoever had an Xbox brought it, we tethered all of the Xbox’s together, and we played split screen. Once again, that’s the point of the achievement. It’s not an achievement meant for a guy sitting in a room by himself, it’s meant for someone that gets people together to play the game, like what you HAD to do if you wanted to play with others when CE came out.
