Why are the mantises so tiny? Have they always been so small?
I finally saw a mantis today and thought that is in no way intimidating.
I think they’ve always been that size. A tank feels much bigger, for sure.
They seem much easier to board as well…
I remember you had to get behind them to board. But then, using my only Mantis (since I reached a REQ 9 before halfway in a match for the first time), I got boarded by a Spartan in front of me who was on a ramp, at a weird angle, five feet beneath me.
The Mantis was always that size and it never LOOKED intimidating but when you are trying to run from one in warzone in an open are they are very intimidating while there are missiles flying by.
before mantises provided great control but now they seem as weak as a ghost but I’ve had more trouble with ghosts.

Don’t forget sniper chainguns cross-mapping.
