(B) wary of replacing Reload with Thruster Pack

It is unfamiliar to those of us who have been playing the Halo franchise the longest to make (B) activate the Thruster Pack when it ought to Reload Primary Weapon / Action.

It is far better to hold (X) to Sprint when pushing forward with (LS) and Dodge sideways when pushing left or right with (LS).

Why make 2 threads when you could have made 1 and had both questions answered?

Why are you complaining about what i presume is the default controls when you can change them regardless of what control scheme you use?

Why?

X has been default for Reload/Action in the majority of Halo games.

I prefer the “Halo 4” control scheme. It worked perfectly for me during the early access period. Thrusters were mapped to LB.

B for reload? that sounds weird to me, i use X for reload
i cant get used to any other button to use as reload lol

(B) was Reload Primary Weapon / Action long before later games in the franchise ‘got creative’ with control schemes. I’d merely like to see a supplementary control scheme that looked like this in addition to those that are more familiar to those who were fond of Halo 4 and Call of Duty.

Here, you hold [LB] to Hover and hold and release [RB] whilst airborne to Ground Pound. Pushing forwards with (LS) whilst holding (X) will Sprint, but pushing (LS) left or right as you hold (X) will Dodge - even when airborne. Hold and release [RB] whilst Sprinting to perform a Spartan Charge. I’d like to simplify this further, but 343i have put rather too many features into their Beta and I suspect they will see what is popular and possibly cut some out entirely and streamline the controls somewhat.

And why do you use Bumper Jumper controls? Those are literally the worst controls. No games support those controls.
