You’re kidding, right? B.net’s hardly inactive. We’re just patiently waiting for Bungie’s new project to take flight over there, just as we’re waiting patiently for 343 to get their Halo 4 train a-rollin’ over here.
It’s because there isn’t much more to talk about since Bungie isn’t running the show anymore and they don’t have any new games coming out. Just wait for them to announce a new game and I’m sure that we’ll see a resurrection.
I would somewhat agree with you. But instead it is more like the Bungie community has gone into more of a Cryo Sleep. The flood forum is kind of a skeleton crew in my opinion (no offense) but any real information is going to scarcely come out until E3.
> I do miss the features of B.net and the large community, but it has become a very cold place and tumble weeds pass through posts and threads. Looking through the forums is like walking through a closed down mall trying to find the last shop still open. I feel guilty for just letting my former forum home sink. I would enjoy going back, but B.net has become a dead carcass in a desert; the only ones left are like vultures picking for scrapes.

I can’t wait till halo 4 comes out because these forums are going to be booming.
> I can’t wait till halo 4 comes out because these forums are going to be booming.
The closer we get to Halo 4, 5, and 6, the more these forums are going to explode, just as Bungie’s did with Halo CE, 2, and 3.
We’re waiting for Bungie to get off their -Yoinks!- and give us some info.
Bungie announces new game, forum EXPLODES.
I Have not been on Bungie.Net for sometime so i guess i don’t really know. But I dont think its a “Skeleton Ship” xD
Dude, the Flood is more active than every forum here.
Thats what the flood forms are for…
Destiny: “See you Starside!”
Long live The Flood!
Bungie going dark may have something to do with the level of activity… but there is life over there, if just depends on where you are looking. Once their ne game drops, or there is word of it, I’m sure you’ll see a flood of activity.
So, don’t think of it as a ghost town, think of it more as closed for renovation… except they’re not closed.
It’s understandable, seeing once 343i took the reins around 7/7, a lot of the community came here and to other boards to discuss Halo.
But the Flood remains busy.

I like the Bungie forum holdouts, there are still a few and they are holding onto their Senior mythic noble legendary member badge for dear life LOL.
Lets face it without Halo Bungie is nothing! Bungie is going to get a tough cold reminder of why it became the company it is today, Halo was the only thing they had going and now that its gone its just a matter of time before they start their downward spiral just like Halo is doing now with Reach.

Its funny how you say without Halo Bungie is nothing. How can you say that? Without even seeing their new game? Their new game could be even better then Halo.
> Lets face it without Halo Bungie is nothing!
Not true, Bungie will get at least one shot to produce a good game and the fanbase from Halo will buy it. I will say that, it will be tough to live up to Halo, so any game they push out is going to have live up to that, not easy.
> Bungie is going to get a tough cold reminder of why it became the company it is today
Hard work, inovation and a desire to please the fans? Yup, thats the magic formula.
> Halo was the only thing they had going and now that its gone
When you have Halo, thats the only thing you need going for you, ask 343 what else besides Halo that they are working on.
> its just a matter of time before they start their downward spiral
There is a saying that goes “There is nowhere else to go from the top”, but they got there and that is no easy feat.
> just like Halo is doing now with Reach.
Keep telling LOLyourself that, perhaps you would prefer CoD?

Your saying this with barley a speck of info on their new game? Talk about jumping to conclusions.
