Y’all know whats missing, if they don’t give us something to grind for, to use the EXP from kills and stuff not only for the battle pass, MAYBE (God knows I would) more people would play more often lol? I mean who doesn’t want to show a big bad GENERAL 4 STARS or a BRIGADIER symbol right next to their gamertag? Like LOOK AT ME, IM A DANGER AND GOD HELP YOU IF YOU ARE IN THE ENEMY TEAM or **JESUS CHRIST IS THAT A FIELD MARSHALL IN OUR TEAM? ** or just a number (hard to believe Infinite doesn’t even has ANUMBER TO SHOW YOUR LEVEL??? LOL!!), something to show our passion and our relative skill/experience in the game!!! Probably this will never happen lmaoo so after I’m done with the battle pass I guess I will uninstall and reinstall when season 3 launches just to grind that battle pass and repeat the process? Also, you know what AAA game is coming on October (c’mon, y’all know what Im talking about lololol0lool0lololol0000l) so THE FELLAS AT 343I better step their game up lmaooo!

Need an XP rank. Weighted to wins and performance (eg. medals).
Not sure about how to add Military Ranks. After a couple of years everyone has maxed them out. The one good thing about numbers, eg. SR150, is that you can continue them indefinitely.
My hope is that when firefight drops or god I hope an evolved variant of an open world firefight. I’ve talked about it a lot.
Sorry, my hope is that commendations and better armor, and stuff will come with unlocks there. It’s probably going to happen like that so they can just bulk drop it for PvE and PvP and the majority will praise that. Even though there should ALREADY be a multiplayer commendation board.
I’ve been pretty vocal that I think the current design is not an actual release model. I think we’re playing in a still unready game. A preview. But Microsoft didn’t want to pump more money in without there being cash to flow. Hence why our store is so predatory. Our customization is a literal affront, and coatings are a joke. Everyone want to customize and have commendations. It shouldn’t be that hard.
But here’s the thing when it all gets fixed, media outlets and pushovers will be excited and these how ever many years it takes to fix this halo like it did 5 will be forgotten.
Sorry for the rant, but these are basic things that have been there since hell… 3 all together?
Yeah, like MCC? Only a handful of people in the world have max rank and technically it’s not even max rank because they can still grind for exp. Number ranks are horrible, it’s a lot better to say “i’m a 5 star general” rather than " i’m a sr152"
I think I gave up even trying to work out who was who in Reach. It was hard enough to remember who was who in what order for the military ranks, let alone for the made up ones.
Don’t they just keep repeating the ranks over and over again?

It kind of makes it hard to gauge how much better a Lieutenant Level 3 is compared to a Rookie Level 4? It’s no longer a linear, or even exponential, journey. It’s kind of staggered.
I assume they show your XP total alongside… which is probably what you look at to get your bearings so to speak?
I’ll leave how best to allocate the ranks to the fans of such things. All I know is we need an XP rank of some sort. And sooner rather than later.

not sure if you are allowed to add links but go to halo dot info and put in your gamertag ad it shows your progression and all of your medals plus kda win loss and more
Even though i don’t like SR ranks it would be better to have them rather than no exp system at all. I don’t know why 343 didn’t simply recycle some past exp syst… oh wait, 343 has to change everything in every game they make, the new exp system will take them at least some months, maybe for season 5 or 6 we’ll have it
Well, not every time having a general brigadier badge next to your name means danger. Some people could be recruit badge and play better than those of General. The badge doesn’t means how good or how bad a player is, it means how much the player has be grinding.
But yeah, I agree, I would like to see a system to level up at least. That would help me to at least play for the ranks and not just say like “I come for dailies, that’s all” rank system on infinite would help the player to at least farm for something when you already finished your battle pass because there’s is still left like 154 days of battle pass? Dude, could you imagine how great things halo infinite could be? But the fact is or they don’t want or they have plans. Like, if you go to customize section you could see CQC armor set but I’m sure that or either we won’t get it on this season or they will ask you $20USD for something default in halo reach or something that costs credits.
The credit system would be great also but 343 don’t like that because they are greedy and want money. I would rather prefer a credit system where you can purchase your armors with credits but yeah, if they do that, from where they could get money?
