please dont get mad at me but that “forrunner ship” looks more covenant then forrunner to me.
and ive heard the same thing from other people.
my conclusion.

they very well may be
It might be caused by the humans access to forerunner technology after the war, so they built their ships with forerunner based improvements, causing them to look the same…

They’re not; they’re intended to be Forerunner. Which is why they’re on the Primordium cover art.
I never understood how some people think they look like Covenant. They’re grey, first off, and in an obviously Forerunner setting (and on a Forerunner book)

the picture of the ship in halo 4 that is posted is duller than what i have seen
i believe it is very likly that the covenant will make an appearence
