At the end of Halo: Combat Evolved. In the end scene specific to the completion of the Legendary difficulty. Sergent Johnson very clearly grabbed a gratuitous amount of Sangheili -Yoink-. This has never been mentioned, explained, or addressed, as far as I know, ever since. Any one know the story behind why Sergent Johnson was shown palming the -Yoink- of the Covenant Elite on the Legendary difficulty end scene?
its for humor and not cannon
he wants that booty booty booty
I suppose I always had expected that it would be brought up again, in passing. For instance, they could have taken that moment and kept it as an inside, running joke. Maybe from time to time subtlety allude to it. You know something for veteran Spartans to enjoy and bread crumbs for the green horn Spartans to discover. Ah whatever. It had its time in the sun, I suppose. Thank you for commenting.
Watching that scene is the most rewarding thing about beating CE on legendary lol
I would not go as far as to say that cutscene is the most Halo: Combat Evolved had to offer, but the scene is most definitely one of the most memorable of the cutscenes. I received more reward from the game as a whole. So many good vibes from that game. Halo 3 somewhat had those good vibes too. Do not get me wrong I enjoyed Halo 2, ODST, Reach, and 4 also, but Combat Evolved and 3 were the bees knees for me (Aside from the cutscenes do not even mention Wars, Assault, or whatever the other mobile centric Halo game is). Any way I like those brief, playful, nonsensical distractions within the game.
well it was one bullet in that rifle
I think it was just a joke
