(Heated feedback after playing 10 games in a row with obvious cheaters with wallhacks and aimbots.)
This game is almost unplayable in it’s current state; not like the MCC when it launched. Its worse. Much worse.
This game is ripe with cheaters in almost every match.
It is unfair and unbalanced as if the betas and preflights did nothing.
I hope 343 is allowed to get out of the awful pit the Microsoft has obviously put them in with the monetization scheme of the game.
I would pay 80$ to be placed in a separate server space like CSGO does to avoid cheaters. I want to be allowed to switch off crossplatform/cross input matchmaking as I think controllers have way to heavy of an auto assist like they are trying to help someone play who has cataracts 1 inch thick while they play through a mirror behind them. I tried a controller and what do you know; my shots were actually landing; even when my reticle was not highlighted on an enemy. TURN IT DOWN. Its sus as hell when a default armor person is getting a 25k/2d and their name is something generic like AgressiveNinja45 or something. Ill go to the horrible theater app and see what was going on to make sure someone aint botting; and oh lo and behold its just a controller person kicking -Yoink!- because they can point in a general direction and press RT.
Mouse and keyboard has its advantages for sure; but by god not that much
Why isnt Halo Infinite just an MCC addon? The system the MCC used for searching for a game was incredible. If I wanted to play a specific game mode; I could. If I needed to play a specific game mode; I could que for it. They already had the perfect system to deploy infinite on, and chose not to because??? (Probably some game design/engine thing that I am sure they could have gotten around with 500M$ budget)
I’m not going to uninstall; simply because if infinite fails then we all lose Halo. MCC on PC is dead basically. Tried searching for a match with all filters set to literally everything and it took 1.5 hours to find a match.
Give us a kernel level anti cheat. Let us pay to be on the better server with no cheaters. Make it so only activated Windows accounts can play and ban their whole damn PC if they get caught cheating. I don’t care personally if 343 invades my PC and is allowed to see pictures of my cats or whatever; we play on the people who owns thems’ operating system so that’s kinda redundant. This game’s clock is ticking; generally if they don’t have it fixed in 1 year from launch people give up.
List of other thoughts:
- Why the heck can’t I parry an energy sword anymore with my fists? Why change that? Halo 4 and Reach let us do that why stop on infintie (not sure on 5).
- STOP LETTING US WALK THROUGH PEOPLE. Wanna know what makes things difficult? Not walking through people. Let us walk through teammates in non-comp modes but dont let us pass through enemies; what the hell was 343 thinking? In comp modes no one gets to pass through nobody; adds difficulty and adds an extra component of teamwork makes the dreamwork.
- Armor coatings are lame as hell and a silly cash grab for slightly different shades of xyz color, but OH! THIS ONES SHINY!!! for 20$…
- Cindershot should hurt the user if it explodes in their face. People use this literal grenade launcher replacement as a shotgun. because it is a better shotgun than the actual shotgun in the game is.
- EXCLUSIVE FULLSCREEN??? WHERE???
I hate to say this but I hate Halo Infinite. Hopefully in the next 304 days this game has made either a 180, or at least a 120.
Lastly, screw you 343 for hyping this game so hard and promising too many things that were not real and were not happening.
