AWAY WITH RED AND BLUE TEAM INTRO

Can 343i please lose the NFL style pre game Red Vs Blue intro. I lose 10 seconds of my life every time I’m about to play a game.

anyone?

I like it actually…

I also love the “fly around” pre-game. A lot better than the blurry pics of Halo 4.

Also I think the “Bro Screen” helps newer players identify which team they are. My girlfriend started playing with me on Halo 4, she was constantly asking “What team am I?/What team are we?”

Not anymore!

This is a good point. the blurry screen on H4 Was not cool.

The fly around helps you identify the map well.

I’m fine with the intro, but I think there’s too much map flying. There are 4 little scenes that play in the fly-bys and there only needs to be 1, MAYBE 2. Getting into game needs to be faster. Five seconds may seem like such a little amount of time to complain about, but it adds up.

Oozy Gorilla i agree with you. 2 flybys is sufficient.

See my other topic about the new " pop" sound introduced with a headshot

I like it, reminds me that i’m part of a team since i usually take that for granted, it makes the winning outro satisfying

Correct as well, I used my Halo 3 games count as a guide as to how much that would be. In around 4,000 games, you’d have used LITERALLY 5 hours and 37 minutes just with an extra 5 seconds added at startup.

i like the intro just not the winning, i think if you loose you see your team pouting, like 1 can stomp, some cam shake thier head “no”, i think we dont have to see them brag

They keep using “immersion” as an excuse for new additions, then make my spartan act like an unprofessional -Yoink- bag. Yes I know they’re a Spartan-IVs, but wouldn’t his commanding officer or someone with a higher rank be near him observing him performance in the war game simulator? I don’t think acting like that in front of them acceptable.

I think its really stupid and has nothing to do with gameplay. I would like it removed, in addition to the end of the game dance screen.

I dont really mind it, but it’d be nice if it actually showed some INFORMATION on the screen (Player names on the intro, and player scores or k/d ratio at the end)

Both the intro and outro showing the teams is incredibly childish imo.

Wait, I’m afraid I don’t quite understand. The intro just shows them walking into their positions right? What’s so childish about that? It’s really just your team of Spartans getting in their respective positions for the oncoming firefight.

Now, as for the “bro” animations at the end… Needless to say, I do agree with people who think that those ones are immature. Even for Spartan IV’s they are acting like some high-school football jocks. Which I don’t see as being proper behavior of a trained and/or in training soldier.

Going into a matchmaking game can mean you lose anywhere from 5-15 minutes of your life depending on how good you are and how bad the other team is. 10 seconds hardly matters.

I like the intro setting scene and flyby. The end scene is odd though, I really just want a victory screen and stats, maybe a rate player option.

Didn’t realize high-fiving and fist bumping was unprofessional yet teabagging evidently didn’t cross your mind.

Teabagging is done by the players, not the developer, to rub it on their opponent’s face. You decide to do it or not, unlike the “dude-bro” animations. What do you suggest? a shield penalty for pressing the crouch button rapidly?

Honestly i just get really embarrassed during the end game animations. I feel like im playing a game for a 10 yr old…

And these same hypothetical officers you mentioned just happen to not see the crotch humping? Even forgetting that point, why is it that high-fiving is so unprofessional? I actually have friends in the military who’ve told me they would high-five and fist bump all the time. I don’t see why now those things are arbitrarily bad.

I think if they could show the stats of each player abov ethe Spartans head after the round that would add more value to the outro. the “rate a player” option would make it more interesting or give the player something to do while the games sets up
