Now this is most likely going to change but I’m more excited to see this may be getting a physical release as well.
Makes sense. We are getting the last season pass leader in August, so it follows that we would get ATN in September. Thats cool I guess.

If I remember correctly (don’t take my word for it, see for yourself, my memory’s been going through some crap) they said in the Q&A that you would need the base game to play the expansion.

Yeah i think so too.Its new leaders and firefight also which can be combined with previous leaders in multiplayer

It used to be the norm, and I think a few recent games have done it. Diablo III and I believe Destiny?

That a dangerous line to walk. Lots of people were mad with Destiny bundling the main campaign with the DLC for cheap. It was basically punishing those who purchased launch day (imo they paid more to play it sooner.

I was thinking a physical release for DLC, but now that you mention it I think both those DLCs also bundled with the base game in a physical release. Might be unfair to call them DLC as they were really expansions, which ATN is also labeled an expansion. You’re also right in that early adopters always pay more to play or use something sooner.

I wouldn’t mind a physical copy. I always buy the digital and the physical copy. Physical because I collect like baseball cards (and if they are ever taken off the server) and digital because I’m lazy hahah

I learned more than often that in this generation of video games it is best to buy games when they are at least 1 year out already,with all the updates,patches and dlc.LOL

Could well be, all we can do is speculate at this stage, there’s so many avenues they could go down with a physical release.
