Awakening the Nightmare / Patch Release

People complaining about this not being in the season pass as if pass holders didn’t get numerous of new heroes with it. Anyways I’m also having a hard time installing this update it keeps freezing at 12.1 gb. Any ideas of what I should do that doesn’t include resetting my entire xbox to factory settings?

I hated the base launch campaign with all heart and ill never get over it but i will say good job with AtN DLC. This reminded me of the reason i payed for the vol 2 all because the story was exciting unlike warcraft or starcraft and many other RTS. I was even expecting to pay for overpriced content just for leaders online. Bravo 343 on making the last DLC actually great before putting halo wars 2 to a close.

Little try factory reset but it still stop at 22% installing it doesn’t work😖

Im copping really bad connection issues with the servers after the patch, i dont know if its just me or others are getting this also

So uh, what’s the deal with over charging Australians? $20 USD when converted is $25 AUD, not $35 AUD. And if I’m right, it’s quite illegal to overcharge Australian consumers, as part of the Australia Consumer Law. Which carries quite a hefty fine. Also, what’s up with Awakening the Nightmare not being a part of the Season Pass? I paid more than enough money so I could get this with the Ultimate Edition, only to find out that I wouldn’t get it. I’m prepared to pay for it, but when you’re blatantly ripping Australian consumers off? No. Simple as that. Australia isn’t your cash cow, and nor are Australian consumers.

I’m utterly disappointed and shocked that 343i, Creative Assembly, and whomever else, have done this to the decades long fans and supporters. I just hope you all realise that you’ve made a mistake and fix it. Lower the price, make it a part of the Season Pass, or compensate those of us with the Season Pass. Last I checked, a Season Pass usually includes everything for an entire year, not half a year.

Wtf was the point of me buying the ultimate edition of the stupid flood crap doesn’t come with it… corporate commander strikes again

Yeah after we -Yoinking!- bought it

For all players that are getting the error message that will not allow the update to even start to download or the game to even be played after the latest patch: I spoke with an Xbox1 tech on the phone, they were unaware other ppl were having this issue, then I told the technician to go on this forum and he told me he was wrong and just to wait until they fixed it again. I waited one day, and it still wasn’t working so I tried taking matters into my own hands. The first solutions I tried were uninstalling the entire game and also clearing “all local saved games” from the system settings menu and then reinstalling the game, which did not work. Then I read that someone had this same issue from an earlier patch in April and they uninstalled everything, hard reset their Xbox, reset the modem, turned it back on, went back into games, it popped up again that the game was installed when I turned the Xbox back on, so I uninstalled it one more time, then put it my disc and FINALLY it’s downloading, I hope this helps any players trying to get past the “something happened, please try again” or "an error has occured, the file is corrupt, uninstall and reinstall " or other strange errors preventing the update and gameplay.

only took 5 hours but the update actually finished… sux im at school

I got the DCL on release however I’m on my sixth attempt to download every time it fails at 9.71 GB any advise please.

This was addressed in the live stream last night. MS are aware of issues in regional pricing, there will be details up on Waypoint soon on how that is going to be addressed and how MS Support will be helping affected players.

Season passes can be an arbitrary length, there’s no real set standard as to what length they are or should be. Details of ATN not being included in the season pass were announced at E3 this year

What about the people who are having issues even installing the game or update?

They should post in and keep an eye on the support forums

Maybe but the patch needs to be patched again because the update has broke plenty of things.

Then they should be reported in the support forums, ideally in detail with a way to reproduce so they can be targeted and fixed as soon as possible

Actually reported it, recorded via the X1 ‘report a feature’.

Same in Sweden really, ultimate edition was like 110-120 USD.
This one is not as bad a difference, approx 27 USD in Sweden, to 19.99 elsewhere.

I had to download the full 40+GB but it works a treat. Loving Pavium!

Thanks CA/343!

You -Yoinking!- -Yoinks!- charged me 20 dollars for an iphone game expansion and I cant even play it because it wont download. I WANT A -Yoinking!- REFUND NOW

Refunds need to be sought from Xbox Live Support. Nobody here or on the forums can assist with that as we don’t have that kind of access to your account:
