Awakening the Nightmare not workin

Hello. A friend of mine Bluephoenix15 purchased Awakening the Nightmare last week. Since installing, the game tells him he can’t play it. When he goes to the Microsoft Store, it says he owns it already. I had him restart, uninstall both the game and DLC, then reinstall everything; it still gives the same issue. What can we do to fix this? Any & all help is appreciated.

If you hit the button repeatedly at startup, it may become like a freeze.
The startup is quite slow. I wonder if that takes time to verify the DLC data?
I want you to fix it here as well.
