make new youtube account dedicated to your gaming news , that’s what i did. right now i have work related, music and video game separated account and at any moment when i feel like to need a break i simply log out.
it’s up to you to how avoid spoilers.
Im just going to watch the campaign like a movie on youtube like I did with halo 5. That way if the story is crap again I know I don’t have wait 3 months to play.

On my case, I was also planning to play the Campaing Co-Op on release with a friend.
But now that we know that Co-Op will not be done until Season 2. Then we just decided to play individually and then when the co-op comes we can re-experience the game again

It’s not a self control issue if you hang around people and someone happens to blurt stuff out. The reality is spoilers happen all the time even if one limits their social media, I’ve had it happen to me, and I’ve even spoiled stuff for my friends before too🤷♀️ People are going to talk about what they want.

I wanted to play co op too but guess what, that’s not a option. If you don’t want the game to be spoiled, play solo - problem solved. It’s genuinely that simple.

This but play it in a party chat or discord so you can play it and experience it all together.

Ya its a bit of a rigmarole.
I cancelled my preorder from my local gaming shop and won’t be buying the physical edition or supporting the store.
But ill play it solo on GP cause after waiting years and reading multiple novels I’m not letting some eejit online ruin it for me.
Won’t be as memorable solo though thats certain.

What you do is get in your safety box space, with bullet proof windows, troll safe doors and tape it up from the inside then hibernate for 3 months, then you be good to go.
Yeah, it sucks that co-op isn’t there at launch.
This honestly just gives you time to experience the story for yourself.
Try something different, and don’t let it get spoiled.

playing solo is spoiling the experience… playing co op with friends for the frist time is memories you keep forever and i will never forget
but playing halo solo is well to say the least is not the same, it wont feel like halo
Right there with you OP. My brother and I have always played through every halo game together. Gonna have to go dark after launch until March. Assuming they don’t delay co-op further.

I am not even surprised if they do… .i mean at this point, i don’t think they will even release local co-op
I am 100% certain if they get the money they need they would not even see a need to release co-op all together

Yeah, that’s a bummer but isn’t that how every form of media with a plot is? It’s impossible to keep up with every book, show, or movie when it comes out. If you can’t handle interacting with people irl because of spoilers I just don’t understand how one handles a love of any plot driven media.

this is a stupid argument when every game has people posting spoilers in headlines and titles, saw it cp2077 saw it with fallout 4 already saw it with stuff from the halo flight. you cant stop the trash google algorithms from pushing these to your screen.
this entire situation is indeed sad and a very amateur move, i would suggest installing an antispoiler extension for your browser
