The new avatars that appeared in H:MCC are selectable in the game, but do not appear in Halo Waypoint.
Repro steps:
- Start H:MCC
- Navigate to Main Menu>Options & Careers>Player ID>Avatar
- Select any of the new avatars that were made available after the 343i apology on Dec 19, 2014. Note: for me, the problem started with the addition of the Spartan Strike avatar.
- Exit back out to Main Menu.
- In a browser, navigate to Halo Waypoint.
- Sign in
- Select Profile
- Navigate to View Service Record>Halo: The Master Chief Collection
- Notice that your avatar does not appear in the Stats Summary section of the page.
