I was under the impression when you tap the trigger you have greater recoil control?
I’ve noticed recoil is more controlled when holding the trigger, and is worse when I tap the the trigger. The reticle moves wildly when tapping the trigger.
Is it supposed to be like this? It doesn’t feel right.
I think the AR’s first shot multiplier for its upwards recoil is pretty high. The idea is that, initially, the recoils kicks upwards by quite a lot upon the first shot and then drastically slows itself down afterwards to the point where it is just so easy to mitigate. I find that this considerably reduces the value or necessity to having to tap-firing the weapon in the way you described, so you want to fire in more prolonged bursts instead.
