343 Should give us an option to turn off zoom or atleast give us an option to change the button for zoom. I play on fish stick control settings and the buttons for auto-stabilize and zoom are same. So every time I try to stabilize with a sniper it zooms in… Does anyone have this same problem or is there a solution to fix this?
Are you trying to stabilize without scoping in? I don’t know about that, but I know there’s an option to zoom in without stabilizing. If you select that, you have to push a button while in the air and scoped to stabilize.
You cannot stabilize in mid-air without zooming in. The features coincide, and as tuhin94 stated, there is a controller option that allows you to zoom in and not stabilize unless you press another button while zoomed in and are already in the air.

My point was that when I stablize with a sniper in air ofcourse it zooms in because the button to stabilize is RS and RS is used to zoom on sniper. I want to be able to just aim with my sniper without zooming it in.

Then simply jump? I don’t know what you’re trying to get at. Stabilizing is impossible without zooming in. If you don’t want to stabilize when you zoom in to aim, then turn off Auto-Stabilize in the games controller options.

Im not trying to stabilize without jumping or aiming. Im trying to 1. Jump 2. Aim with sniper (In the air) 3. While doing that if I want to stabilize I have to press RS 4. While I stabilize with a sniper it zooms 2x in. Only way it doesn’t zoom in 2x is if I zoom 2x first and then jump and stabilize.
If Im not making any sense to you try to put fish-stick controls on and try to stabilize with a sniper rifle youll se what I mean.

The only thing I can think of is that you have auto-stabilize off. If that’s not the case, then you should be able to stabilize unless you’re in a custom game that prohibits you from doing so. Button/thumbstick layout does not make a difference. BTW, you have to click the LS to zoom in further. RS is for melee.

Yes I have auto-stabilize off. And when I want to stabilize I have to press RS or LS cant remember which one on fish-stick. But on other control setting its not the same button to stabilize as zoom in with sniper.
