"Auto-Stabilize Off" Is Unusable w/ Hell Jumper

I am hoping for a fix for this issue. I have tweeted at Bravo a couple times, but have not received a response.

If you turn off Auto-Stabilize and use any button layout that has Smart-Link on left trigger, then any attempt to manually stabilize also forces you to zoom (because zoom and sprint are linked together on these button layouts). This is not an issue for button layouts such as Bumper Jumper since sprint is not bound to Zoom.

Can we fix this by either turning off zoom or allowing it to be mapped to some other button?

Any users here find a way around this problem? I used to use bumper jumper, but I find the responsiveness of left trigger for Smart-Link more desirable.

Use recon thats what I use and I have no problems.

I think you misunderstand the post. You suggest recon, which has Smart-Link on the right stick. My point is that manually stabilizing is unusable when Smart-Link is on left trigger. I prefer smart-link on left trigger over right stick due to its responsiveness

I know I can use a button layout where Smart-Link is on the right stick, but I would prefer left trigger.

Oh OK nvm I was mistaken.

What I don’t understand from you post is that you want to use stabilizer when un-scope? The stabilizer only work when zoom so I’m not sure to understand…

I switched to helljumper a little over a month ago… what I want to know is why you want auto stabilize off in the first place, I haven’t had it get in the way ever.

Smart-link is not the same as zoom. Check ur button layout.

More control. Jumping from a higher plat to a lower one, you want ability to smart-link without being a sitting duck in the air.

I had to go try this for myself; I didn’t realize manual stabilize was possible. Doesn’t this issue only occur when using a Sniper? Not many weapons can zoom beyond their set magnification.
