Auto-Stabilize and the Sniper Rifle

I turned Auto-Stabilize off because I like being able to jump and aim without sitting like a stationary target in the air, but the same button to stabilize manually is also the button used to zoom in the Sniper Rifle.

Like…

Why?

Where were these “pros” that gave feedback about the game? None of them tried to stabilize while using the sniper rifle?

you can turn it off…

Turn what off?

I looked at all the control configuration, and the same button is always used to Sprint and Zoom. And guess what button the stabilizers are? Sprint.

So if you turn auto-stabilize off, whenever you go to stabilize, you’ll double-zoom your sniper rifle…

Must just be your button configuration…

Zoom can be the right analog as well…

What? No, look your control configuration on default!

I have the same problem. Only fix that I know of is to switch to bumperjumper but I can’t get used to it,I’m going from fish stick to bumperjumper

I have the same problem dude. It would be easy to add a “Zoom ON/OFF” Setting, but idk if 343 is even aware about this issue

agree, would be great to not get that max zoom on default.

Double zoom before you stabilise

I use bumper jumper, so stabilize is mapped to the A button which is traditionally sprint, while the left stick is zoom. I didn’t know this occurred in other control schemes, that’s strange for sure.
