In the Spartan Ops trailer, stop at 45 seconds and you see a Forerunner object on the green spartans back. This not to be confused with the jetpack as the jetpack at 1:08 is different in shape and has exhaust underneath.
The Auto Sentry AI looks like it could be some form of a watcher or maybe something else but DEFINETLY Forerunner in nature.

Its possible that this is it, however I was kind of expecting some sort of gameplay to go with it. nonetheless, good find. I don’t believe I ve ever seen this posted before.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again; keep auto sentry, active camo and regeneration field AAs exclusive to campaign and possibly spartan ops. none of them could possibly be balanced enough to fit into a competitive multiplayer, without making them completely useless or overpowered. However, all 3 could fit pretty good from a cooperative standpoint, and would be worthwhile in the campaign and spartan ops missions.
I noticed it pretty early too, but I didn’t really care as I thought it was one of the new mystery promethean weapon attached on the spartan’s back. But’ you’re right, maybe it’s an armor ability Though, I don’t see an auto-sentry
If it were watcher esk than that’d be a little overpowered. It shoots at enemys and picks off grenades thrown at you? It’ll just be a sentry no watcher resemblence I imagine. Other than it might float and follow you around. Which is probably what you meant but I don’t know. If it followed you around and kinda had your back that’d be cool.
Could the fact that it’s on his back maybe that he’d just deployed it? Like it’s coming out from his back?

The ultimate troll. Watcher deployed while you snipe and opponent has free stick kill and ends up getting stuck himself cuz watcher tossed it back.

Yea but it does look like it detaches and that arrow forms into what might be the laser.
But we also have to take into consideration that they’ve not, near, revealed all of the other armour abilities in the game yet. It does look like a sentry turret though!

D: What about Custom Games and Forge? Like the Fuel Rod Gun?
