Does anyone know what this armor ability will be yet?
We have received no info on this yet. I am expecting for it to act like the Auto-Sentry from Halo 3’s campaign.
first of all, where did you see that this would be an armor abilities in halo 4 to begin with?
second, it’ll most likely be what the name suggests, an automated sentry.
third, I personally don’t like the idea of sentries because it’ll encourage camping but I guess I’ll have to see it to give my opinion on it.

I believe it was on one of the leaked pictures shown a while back that had a list of armor abilities including ones that we know of now.
From the sound of it, it seems like it might be like the Automated Turret equipment from Halo 3. While there is no information revealed about it other than name, I can’t imagine it would be more than a harassment or deterrent tool, and would probably be easy to destroyed.

Look at the very botttom of the picture. It says equipped: Auto-Sentry.
It’ll probably be similar to Halo 3’s automated turret, which was forerunner.

They talked about it in an legitimate article, haven’t read about it since then.

in Promethean Visions defense I must say that PV in itself isn’t dangerous, its how you USE it that makes it so deadly. even though promethean vision does seem a little bit too powerful I have to say it won’t give you any kills, its a tool that helps you get kills at best. as for the auto sentry well…it could very well mean free kills.

I like not seeing a Jetpack in that list.

Nice point you have there. I can see auto sentry mostly being used for objective matches. Set one up right at your flag, while you’re on offense.

Me too, if it’s added hopefully it will be like the Brutes jumppack in Halo 3. I don’t want it to be like Reach where people float like mosquitoes. Here’s a picture of jetpack in Spartan-Ops.

yeah I guess the auto sentry could be used like that, I also see snipers using the hell out of the thing, even though you can now see your radar while zoomed in I still see it being an effective way of alerting you of any would be flankers.
I doubt the sentry will last forever given that none of the other armor abilities do, but theres still a lot of things that I would like to be answered regarding the power and mobility of it.

Oh yeah, that could be a combo that is OP. All that on top of the fact that you don’t get kicked out of zoom when shot. I have some concerns about this now.

OT: If it was anything like H3 then it would be extremely vulnerable if it misses a shot seeing as the recharge for each shot was long.
