Ive played about 50 games already and noticed a AR can beat even a BR at mid range fire fights.

At mid range? nope I’d say at close range sure but I have taken down plenty of AR’s with my BR, DMR, LR. I can understand the frustration since it does seem as though the AR got a damage boost, but its nothing too bad in my opinion
No, the AR is fine. My god you guys on here are ridiculous.

Nope. I have not used every weapon yet but this is the most balanced halo yet.
The AR is for the noobs. 343 has to keep they noobs main weapon powerful so they don’t feel bad when they keep getting raped by the BR because the noobs are 343s main consumer. Halo isn’t the competitive game it used to be.

I was worried about the AR at first too but it plays fine, it is suppose to win in close range against precious weapons and thats exactly what it does

Before launch i thought AR/pistol was a good move by 343i…
after my first 10+ matches im struggling to be consistent. Maybes its down to how i dont know where spawns are yet, but i kinda miss BR starts right now
i feel at least have a mlg playlist for people that dont want to be 4 man AR
