Auto-refill players that quit

They should do like halo 4 where it automatically puts in new people after someone quits

I’d be okay with this, at least for social playlists, but even ranked playlists would benefit imo.

Definitely for Social playlists I’d say

Jip will put people in losing games that’s it.

Put in social but make it so you won’t join a game that’s about to end or a game where the odds of winning or making a comeback are almost non-existent

I guess if it had time remaining and kill differential thresholds it would be ok, because having people join a game that’s almost over or 20+kills behind isn’t going to improve the experience.

Sometimes? Yes. Maybe even the majority of times? Possibly. All the time? I don’t think so. But you have to admit that in cases where your teammates quit out, you’d more than likely appreciate those quitters getting replaced, even if it still results in a loss.

Ultimately, it wouldn’t be a problem as long as players who join in progress games are exempt from getting penalized for a loss. So if you join a game and lose. It’s like you never played the game outside of your personal stats, but if you join a game and win, it should count as a win. I think there are ways to implement JIP without having it be detrimental to the players getting inserted into losing games, and, ultimately, for the better.

This is such a perfect system. It’s exactly what Modern Warfare Remastered does and it’s golden imo. I really think this needs to be implemented into MCC.

I think custom game browser will be the closest we get to this.

Most likely. I don’t know what kind of code changes would be required to even implement JIP. Halo Infinite will have to be the first Halo game with JIP and hopefully my highly sought after and requested team slayer/objective playlist for randoms.

I’d be ok with that. It’s unfair to give the new guy a losss when he wasn’t there from the beginning. I’d 100% rather have a fresh game than a suicide mission though

It’d need some serious restrictions/limitations for me to be on board. Nobody wants to join a game that’s seconds away from ending; especially when it throws you onto the losing team. (Happens to me all the time in Overwatch.)

I think this would be a great addition, so long as players can choose if they want to join matches in progress.

The way halo 4 has Join In Play is perfect and I have never minded joining a late game even if we did lose

Put it in social playlists. It gets annoying when nearly everyone quits out of a BTB match and the match drags on…
