Auto kick for players who die too much?

But you were bad. That’s my point. You had a starting point and you were given the opportunity to work your way up.

This proposed “auto-kick” will strip that opportunity from many players who were just like you. You shouldn’t bite the hand that feeds you.

I’m not sure I’m onboard with this, but I’d like to see players kicked after just 15-30 seconds of idleness. Or maybe there should be some way that the game engages players before the game starts so that if players are AFK they get booted and the game either waits until it finds a new player, or adds an AI.

No new player is learning anything when they are that bad at the game. Getting booted from a game like that is only helping them. If they are breaking even with the k/d ratio maybe but we are talking about getting absolutely decimated. Not fun for anyone involved. I support the suck ban 100%. If you re-read the post you can see the op is talking about booting players that have absolutely no business playing halo not just sucking because they are new at the game.

No cap bro, you sound three years old. Go get a Fortnite gift card with your mom’s money for Christ’s sake.

Also what??? Not only are you going to propose such a 343 move, you’re going to say that being on consoles makes someone worse? Hilarious, you get a gold star. This kind of thing is why I barely play Infinite anymore.

Says who? You’re not a mind reader. How often do you check up on the stats of these “bad players?” You really don’t know what someone is truly capable off based off stats alone.

Getting booted for dying does not help players get better at all. If anything, it crushes their spirits and pushes them away from the game. I don’t know how someone could be so unaware of themselves.

Everyone in this thread started somewhere. Would you appreciate it if you were told to quit because you weren’t good at a game? How about you quit? It’s not like you’re enjoying the match to begin with. Or better yet, run with a group.

There is nothing worse than having a benchwarmer as a “teammate” using the term in the loosest meaning. I’d rather have the person quit instead of feed the other team

It’s definitely not ideal, but kicking that player for that very reason basically turns it from a game to a toxic Guardians style Spartan Company, which, for the record, sucked.

I’ll admit, if someone has gone 15 deaths straight without at least cleaning up a kill, they are either purposefully doing bad, or the matchmaking has completely failed.

A person going super negative makes me not want to play or try since we will lose anyways. I’ll try when everyone else can pull their weight. I did get full Achilles from h5 so I went down the Spartan company road

Why? Does seeing someone go negative give you flashbacks?

Jokes aside, why don’t you try running with a group? Running with randoms isn’t really going to get you a consistent experience if you’re trying to win.

And that’s the key difference than a “auto-kick”. Let the player realize under their own power that it may be better to quit and try again in another match. I’d rather have bad player leave if they are actively hurting the team, but that’s not my call.

Honestly, why stop there?

If you die 15 times in a match, it just deletes the game from your library. Stats and all. If you wanna play again you have to start from scratch.

Git gud or git malware.

I completely agree with this if your so worried about winning and teammates going super negative go play in a group\friends cause it doesn’t matter what game you’re playing if you play in pubs this will always happen and the fact infinitys matchmaking is utter garbage is a topic that far more important then this

I don’t have people always to play with and solo queuing is painful

If you choose to solo queue up, you’re purposely putting yourself at a disadvantage. Getting bad teammates is the consequences you get for doing this. No matter how good a matchmaker can get, it’s never going to be even remotely close to giving you reliable teammates as opposed to picking your teammates yourself. This is why Pro level players pick their teammates, so they’re not playing to lose.

Solo queuing is always going to be painful

Teammates who perform poorly have been around since teams were a thing.

Unless they’re griefing on purpose, they shouldn’t be punished for it.

Well, crappy teammates have been a thing since forever.

I don’t even know why this topic even exists.

What is this? no seriously, what the hell is this…

talk about a bad take.

This hardly seems fair for people who are trying their best, only to be 1-UP’ed by more skilled players (or cheaters). And this is coming from a player who has more deaths than earning kill points, who btw has been doing his very best, his very FRICKIN’ best. Do you think it’s easy going up these so called pro players? What do you think I’ve been doing the whole time, huh?

I think I’m about average, maybe below, but that’s besides the point. I think I do decent every now and then, and some other days I’m not so lucky.

Unless the game gets fixed in more ways than, there’s always going to be crappy teammates on your side.
