Auto kick for players who die too much?

With Halo being free, there are players who are just awful - either from using consoles or just new to FPS. Since they have nothing vested in the game, there is little reason to get better.

Perhaps there should be an option to boot players who die 15-25 straight times? Having a player with 20-30 deaths (1-2 kills) makes winning impossible in 4v4.

literally one of the worst take I’ve ever seen in my life.

At that point you’re going to lose anyway so I don’t see the benefits. You’re at a disadvantage being down a player, if it’s slayer they’ll still have all those kills.

I’d rather have an option to “vote to forfeit match” to end the match early so everyone can move on.

So you have no issues with a teammate that dies 20-30 times a game? I have never encountered this in any HALO game going back to 2001.

That’s a good idea. I remember in Reach there would be so many games where it was just 1 or 2 vs 4 and you couldn’t quit because of the reprimands. That would totally work for multiple reasons.

Thats a great idea, I have never won a 4vs3 ranked game. Seems impossible, its always a letdown to have the game go this route.

In ranked, calling a match early could come with benefits. Maybe doing so can have it you don’t drop down as much if they forfeit to end an unwinnable match early.

It can’t be too much of a reduction, and forfeiting too frequently will lead to you just losing the normal amount for a while to avoid abuse. But maybe?

People leaving matches early will still lose the normal amount plus the amount reduced by his teammates if they choose to forfeit to sort of discourage leaving early.

Preaching it since H5… it would massively reduce the quitting problem.

So what if players are awful. Some people may have just got Halo Infinite and may not be a good as you. But to kick a person that dies alot…NA!! that is just wrong.

Example:

In the Battlefield Franchise if you just started to play Battlefield 2042 you just get the basic weapons when you first start While others have all the good weapons. Now that is not cool. So what you have to do is get points so you can get better weapons. But you don’t kick people cuz there are not as good as you or may not have any of the good weapons and die alot! That is just wrong!!

Peace! :fist_right: :fist_left:

What in the elitism is this? Yikes… Ranked matchmaking in general was a mistake for this very reason.

Never played infinite because it isn’t actually halo but it really was hard to enjoy a match of halo 2 and 3 when someone sucks so bad on your team. One of the reasons why I enjoyed rumble pit so much.

It might be a better solution to try and assist one another and work more as a team rather than kicking them. When my friends die multiple times in a row I’m just glad because they’re going for the objective while I slay the opponents.

No amount of assisting will stop the suck. The suck will continue unless the suck is removed.

Then you haven’t played MCC with a high MMR, because every teammate is damn near a 1-18 once you’re a hidden 40+.

And when all of the new or less seasoned players quit, you will cry that it has gotten too sweaty. This cannot be happening to you very often that it is an actual problem.
Or here’s a hot take, try to run with them and help them!

Sounds like you need to stay in rumble pit then.

Keep that negativity in there.

Oh wow. A k/d joke. How…funny.

I’m sure you remember how bad you were the first time out playing this game. Don’t let numbers inflate your head like that.

You still need room in there to think before you speak.
