Why when I look across the map I see a huge nameplate appearing basically saying “ENEMY IS HERE SHOOT HERE” then there is even extreme aim assist to help out too…
For example, on Ragnarok I know the enemy sniper is in their base camping as always so I try to sneak round the broken down Pelican to try and flank him… I make my way there and he spots me without even aiming in my general direction. Nameplates are extremely stupid, I can live with the stupid aim assist which usually ends up making me get killed, when I’m battling 2 people and they criss cross each other and the aim assist jumps me to the other player and makes me lose out on killing the other guy, that’s fair enough I know the kids need some help to aim their game pad thumb stick (must be so difficult mastering that) but the nameplates need to.
Rant over.
im not sure if every gun has the same level of aa, carbine and dmr have lower aim assist than BR.
I guess everyone is enjoying the easy mode little kiddy auto aim and huge nameplates appearing
I’ve noticed that the DMR has it at a pretty ridiculous range. I’m able to target people from across Ragnarok (the short way, not from base to base) and it’ll give the name, red reticule, and aim-assist. I get that the weapon is supposed to be medium to long range, but that’s definitely overdoing it.
I agree, you don’t even need to survey the horizon to notice enemies or of there is a stealthy sniper popping his tiny head out, if you aim even remotely near him it goes red and its blatantly obvious…
That combined with auto aim is pretty pathetic, but it keeps the kids happy I suppose, but black ops 2 is out today so they may have just been doing it to keep all the kids happy till today and they will hopefully remove it hint hint
Side note: does anyone know how to shut off the Aim Assist? It screws me up a lot. And I couldn’t see it when I checked the menu
all aa should be removed namplates arent a big deal
