The auto aim in this game is almost non-existent. This makes close quarter combat very frustrating.
Conversely, the headshot hit boxes are huge. It is too easy to headshot.
I think ink the balance of these two critical game dynamics needs to be re-evaluated.
What are your thoughts?
I am also concerned the lack of auto aim will play to the advantage of the population of gamers using mouse and keyboard adapters.
Well, i agree but is how 343 works, look H4/H2a.

That is because Mouse and Keyboard are better for shooters and the amount of people with adapters is not that big. Also auto-aim or aim-assist is not a crucial game-play mechanic, its a feature to help people who struggle to hit a barn door from 3m away.

You went too far with the sarcasm. Can not compare an opponents head to a barn door…sounded good though.

Agreed, he went a little too far.
Aim assist, or the lack of aim assist, is in my book all about barrier to entry. The harder you make the game to play, the more a minority of hyper-competitive hard-cores will like it, and the more difficult you will make it for the weekend gamer, or the new kid just trying to take the franchise for a spin. And without the casual gamer, the competitive gamer has no population, and eventually no game to play. It’s a yin and yang sort of thing.
Well having low aim assist is fine and all but you gotta think of the consequences of having low aim assist it means bigger hit boxes and more bullet magnet so I rather have a somewhat medium aim assist with 0 bullet magnet and properly sized hitboxes over having low aim assist right now but thats my opinion.
