One of the main issues with MCC is for me living in Australia, I can never find games. It takes ages. Unless I start a search in every possible playlist and play the waiting game to test which are the most popular at that point in time. Something that would be a lot easier if say, we had some sort of UI telling us how popular those game-types were at any given time (based on regions)
Another thing is in my settings, I have enabled every region possible. But it’s like these settings don’t even matter cause it only matches me to close regions like Australia or Southeast Asia. What’s stopping it from letting me play in the US? I’ve connected to US in custom games and there’s not even a problem with lag, hell even Europe seems fine at 400ms (depending on game mode, obviously Assasination Tower is a pain in the -Yoink- but swords only seems fine)
Can we possibly add some changes to alleviate these issues?
There is a region lock that was either intentionally or unintentionally applied with the latest hot fix that amended the matchmaking issues that came with the season 7 update. There are a few threads in the support section of the forums that may shed some more light on the issues for you.
Being in Australia myself, I understand exactly where you are coming from. Having a playlist player count would be ideal.
Yup, as a Sydney Australia resident I can’t even get into a US server unless some of my US buddies are playing MCC
Region lock doesn’t solve any issues in MCC instead make it harder for players who are not American

I don’t think I’ve ever found one so that’s ranked weeklies out the door

Yeah I’ve already put in a Support Ticket for this issue. Virtually unplayable in this state. Too few Aussies to play Ranked gametypes. Can’t find a single game… very few Aussies at high rank levels. Searching solo takes FAR to long and can only find games during peak periods on weekends when Aussies are on. The only way to play is to party up with US players which I cant always do.
South Aussie here, same thing happening here.
It took me 5 minutes to find a BTB match even with all games and modes selected. Before S7 it took usually around 10 seconds.
