Australia Rates Halo (M)

Australia has just rated Halo Infinite as M, keep in mind this is mostly due to in game purchases, here in Australia they’re very sensitive to that. However I feel other reasons could give it an M, again mostly PvP not so much campaign.

interesting to see the rating coming out, almost confirms a complete 2021 release date ( I am confident it’ll be a 2021 release )

I hope you’re right! Very excited for this release

They are sensitive to a lot of things that are “normal” in the US

Everything is pointed towards a 2021 release, I’d love for 343 to pull an APEX legends and randomly drop before November, surprise its here.

I can’t wait for it to release! Hopefully your right.

As an Australian, i just saw this and now I’m not as worried for the themes and violence of infinite, as the Tech Preview was rated PG, or E10+ In America

Does it give any specifics on why it was rated m? >.>

I doubt it will be M here unfortunately. Some Next Gen Flood is too much of a dream.

Mild Themes and Moderate Violence, I believe.

I hate being salty…

I did already have a thread for this. Written way earlier than you too…

Ah well… stuff happens. No big deal.

Would be due to in game purchases

I didn’t even see your post, sorry dude.

Halo 3 was M and it was the best game in the franchise. I wouldn’t worry.

As an Australian I can agree with this statement

it was to, but for different reasons. In Australia it got M because of in game purchases and violent guns in PvP. Blood wasn’t part of it’s description.

Just searched the Microsoft store on my Series X. PEGI 16 (Strong Violence) here in the UK. That’s the same rating every mainline Halo has received here.

Bit late to the party this thread was made already.

I find it weird that people are stating this. It’s not like this happens on the forums like 4 times on the same day lol.

This is good news, on the fact that Halo now has a rating so it’s release is a coming.
