I could give a rats -Yoink- what forum you want me to post this thread in. It directly pertains to Halo Reach, so I’ll post about it in the section it was meant to be posted in.
This update was absolutely terrible. Anniversary BTB shouldn’t have been removed, bottom line. What other game removes features/playlists against the will of it’s own damn community? None. None at all. Now I play Timberland and Headlong once in a blue moon, since all 16 people have to have. Yeah, I could just move over to regular BTB, but it’s been overrun by 12 year-olds who can’t seem to stop voting for Heavies variants.
Where are all the playlists that require DLC? Oh, that’s right, they were all removed. Now these maps that I paid for barely show up in matchmaking. Sure, I can search with a team who has the maps, but it only takes one cheap -Yoink- on the opposite team to ruin it for everyone.
-Yoink- you, 343. Everyone still hates you for the “update”, even if they aren’t allowed to post about it.
First of all, chill. Halo 4 is coming out soon anyway.
Sure, they might have made a mistake in the eyes of the community, but it might have been necessary. In the 343 studios, all hands are working on Halo 4. They needed to have less to monitor on Reach so that they could meet the deadline on November 6th. They tried to soften the communities pain as much as they could by taking out the ones that weren’t played very much. Although I loved Squad DLC and Firefight Doubles, I’m not going ballistic over it. Like I said earlier, Halo 4 is coming out soon anyways.
I know you will look at my rank and say, “Recruit-Iron, what will he know,” but trust me, this is not the end of the world.

I fully agree with this post, take a chill pill and wait for Halo 4. Plus, your poll is completely bias, I love 343i.
So what, I paid ~$120 for Halo Reach Collectors Edition and all the DLC, yet I have to simply deal with it when they decide to remove features? -Yoink- that. No other game removes features in light of a new game being released. I’m 110% sure they removed the playlists to migrate people to the “better experience” that is Halo 4.
Why the hell can’t they have at least one playlist with DLC required?
