Hey guys I’m having a little audio problem with Halo 4 and was wondering if anyone else was experiencing the same.
So what happens is that every now and again the sound cuts out for about a second at random intervals, this proves to most frustrating when there is cutscenes or dialogue during play.
I doubt the problem lies with my console as it’s brand new (bought it the other day) so does the fault lie with my Halo 4 disc?
Strangely I wasn’t having this problem when I first started playing the game…
Any help or advice would be most welcome!
Kind regards,
Eberron1

Maybe the disc was scratched or slightly damaged in the shipping to the store? Maybe you scratched it a bit while putting it into the disc tray?
You’re first person I’ve seen that had this problem, so it can’t be the game itself. That narrows it down to the disc condition. Search for any damage on it (Sorry if this didn’t help, I’m just guessing :P)
You are not the first one, yesterday someone posted a topic in regards the same thing. Im not sure what causes this, it may be the disc, Lets hope 343 to fix this.

I have just tried todo as you said but the clearance happened really fast, the screen was up for barely a second! Is this normal if you have nothing but Halo on your hard drive?
Either way I’m going to play through now to see if it made a difference.

Disc is in pristine condition! I have looked it over quite a few times now and can’t find any damage on it.

Yes, the cache clears pretty quick, hope it works ok.

it happens in campaign and multiplayer and no I’m playing with a UK English copy.
I assume disc 1 is copied to the consoles HDD but I will double check.

Ak ok well it has only happened twice since I cleared it so fingers cross a !
I have also done what Nanotech Virus suggested with removing the cables.

Put in disc 2 and go to your xbox dashboard and go to games, there should be an option to install it.
I’m sure you can also install disc 1, so do it to both discs. Afterwards you won’t be needing the second disc at all.
