Audio logs in co-op

Greetings,

There has been sporadic threads on folks having a tough time finding audio logs. Personally, I love hunting for things thru the campaigns of all the games and am always willing to help.

Unfortunately, co-op resets the audio log progress for both players and before I felt confident to really offer anyone true help my thoughts generated a couple of questions.

  1. Is the achievement unlockable on co-op?

  2. Is the achievement unlockable on Easy?

  3. The reason for the Easy question is that I am unsure if one has to play the campaign co-op to unlock the Data Hive mission. The campaign is relatively short (especially on easy), but skipping the missions straight to Data Hive would be preferable.

  4. Last, if one person downloads the audio log, do both players get the credit? I have the achievement, so would it be best for the person who needs it to play it?

Even with the help of online map, I had a tough time finding some of these, so at this point, I think I am capable of finding them all again and am willing to help anyone wander the Mombasan streets. But if its simply for the audio logs, there’s nothing wrong with making the campaign part as painless as possible.

  1. Yes, it is unlockable on co-op.
  2. I believe all campaign related achievements for ODST are linked to Normal & higher.
  3. Both players should get credit, I believe all the audio log achievements say ‘alone or with another ODST’.
