The achievement for getting my 11th Audio Log is stuck at Done Unlocking since the day Halo 3 ODST came out. It is my last achievement to get 6000 G on this game so I’d like to know when it will unlock.
We are very happy to know that you are aware of this but are you planning to do something about it ? There are many gamers with this problem… Furthermore, I’ve contacted Xbox support, they told that for some reason the achievement was being verified on the servers and that you could unlock the achievements manually.
Halo is my all time favorite franchise and Halo MCC is an awesome game, unfortunately some bugs as this one are hard to deal with for achievement hunters.
Yeah, my 11th audio log is stuck on “done unlocking” as well. I know they’re just dots on light on the screen, but for some reason these achievements mean something to me. And it’s a punch in the gut/kick in the nuts when this stuff happens. After an update, I got sent back to the beginning of Halo 2’s Laso Playlist. 343 knows of the playlist reset problem. After trying their remedy that didn’t work, I arrived at a conclusion. They’re either too incompetent to fix the problems. They don’t care to fix the problems. Or they’re just doing the bare minimum to save what little rep they have left until Halo 5 comes out. Microsoft P.O.S.
The only thing worse than “Done! Unlocking…” Is just not getting any credit for the achievement at all. I have the same problem with audio log #25. I had two other achievements stuck at “done unlocking” the same day (Beating data hive and beating all missions on easy… which was weird/annoying since I beat it on legendary first and those other three difficulty achievements unlocked fine.), but those unlocked the next day… The “done unlocking” issue really does need to get resolved. It doesn’t make any sense to me how this can happen. I earn 92 achievements in one day, and three of them get stuck… two unlock the next day and one stays stuck. … more like “stuck unlocking” instead of “done unlocking”
I also have one that is in the same state. I’m getting close to completing the game and would like to know if anyone has found an update on how to get it to pop
I have been waiting close to 4 months for audio log 22 (adventurer achievement) to be “done unlocking” It will be my 600th. Xbox support says its 343’s fault not theirs and have been no help at all. Apparently there is an update in the works and will get a release date soon. While I love the Halo franchise the problems they have had with this game are very disheartening, I hope they rectify these issues soon and don’t screw over the people who play hard to get all of these achievements. I also hope they don’t drop the ball this bad for Halo 5.
I’ve tried that 3 times and unfortunately it did not work for me. If you have not tried it, you should give it a go. maybe it’ll work for you, but I didn’t have any luck with it.
After four months of waiting audio file finally finished unlocking for my 600th achievement. I ended up moving my xbox one to a place in the house with the strongest signal. Removed my profile, power cycled the xbox, turned it back on after a few minutes and reinstalled my profile. When I launched Halo MCC it had to sync to the cloud, the sync went way faster (10-15 minutes) then the previous location (30-45 minutes) of the xbox. The achievement unlocked a couple of days later. I am guessing that the stronger signal helped to sync my xbox and the cloud at a proper speed because I tried this 4 times previously and it did not work. Again I am guessing this is why it worked, but thought I would pass it along in hopes it may help someone else.

Hmm, interesting. You’re the first person I’ve heard have one of those audio log achievements pop after being stuck. Unfortunately, I have nowhere else to take my xbox to, as it’s already near the router. Maybe I’ll try just removing my tag and redownloading?

You should definitely try removing your gamer tag and reinstalling it. So that the system syncs with the cloud (such a Flawed idea, they should just pop without communicating to it)Like I said I’m just guessing that the stronger signal helped unlock it, but I can’t be positive. It took four months to pop it and the only thing that I tried different then all the other times was moving the Xbox. All the other troubleshooting tips were unsuccessful. I have heard they are doing an update soon, hopefully that helps out everyone else who is stuck with this problem. I hope you’re achievement unlocks for you. Good luck.
Hi, currently 9th Audio Log is Done Unlocking, I’ve tried everything MSFT has said but the weirdest thing is, its Done Unlocking on Xbox One and Xbox Smartglass but locked on Xbox.com and Xbox App (Release & Beta)
