Ok, so recently I’ve been getting audio issues with dialogue in campaign but in multiplayer it’s fine, the announcer still says the general things like ‘double kill’ etc. But in campaign, all dialogue is gone, reduced to atoms, any way to solve this? It’s very annoying to hear the music going without any words being said

Best suggestion for a first thing to try would be uninstall and reinstall.

I’ve just played Halo 5 again for the first time in 2 years and have the same problem, so am keen to see if this works for you.

I just installed Halo 5 again last night (disc), and I’m having the same issue. I googled it, and it’s a rather common problem. All the “solutions” (make sure voice is turned up in settings, exit/relaunch, restart console, change voice settings in dashboard to English US and restart) I tried did not work at all. Some people said a “voice/language pack” is necessary, but a prompt to download one never shows up, and it can’t be found in the store/add-ons. I didn’t uninstall/reinstall the game because I just installed it last night, it takes so long to do so, and to wait all that time again, just for it to still not work would make me want to uninstall and throw out the game. It seems there’s no help from 343 staff on any of the posts concerning this, and I still don’t know what to do, but it’s incredibly annoying. Going through an entire campaign with no game speech is ridiculous. This has been an issue for at AT LEAST 3 YEARS (according to other posts about this), and they STILL haven’t fixed it, nor have they responded at all. Just avoiding it all together. Love that customer support.
Please let me know if reinstallation works. I don’t see why a fresh install last night, would be any different than reinstalling it, but who knows…

Hi, so i have reinstalled it and it has worked, loaded up a mission and boom, got myself audio
