I just got a new elite controller (last one had a broken bumper so i got it replaced) and ever since I’ve been using this one I’ve noticed that at times the audio in-game is coming from the opposite side of where I’m at. For example, if I’m on Eden and I’m on Red Bend with nobody else around I’ll hear gun fire coming from further off the map while my teammate is actually engaging an enemy around Blue Bend. Has anyone had this issue? Would a factory reset of my controller help?
FYI, it’s pretty easy to take apart the Elite controller and fix the bumper issue. It only costs like $10 on eBay to go in and buy new pieces. I’ve done it for both mine and my cousins. If you still have yours I encourage you to go in and try to fix it.
I’ve never had the issue you’re talking about with my controller. I don’t know how to help you, but I’d go in and reset it just to be safe.
Turn your headphones around. Jk jk
I’ve been using earbuds since my headphones broke and accidentally put the buds in the wrong ears one day. It took a full game for me to figure out what the hell was going on, lol! I must have been tired!
I wonder if the jack isn’t seating all the way in?
Hmm… I’ve never heard of a controller causing audio issues. Like the others have said, maybe you’re wearing headphones on backwards?
I’m not wearing my headphones backwards and I got the Elite controller replaced for free already.
