Yoinking is fun.
Yes, it’s trolling, but it in no way negatively affects the outcome of a game.
Think of it like stealing the football from your teammate at the 5 yard line and making a touchdown.

I don’t mind getting yoinked tbh, it puts a smile on my face. When I yoink randoms, they tend to betray me or send me vulgar messages after the game (even though they couldn’t say it to me during a game with their mic). When I yoink my friends, we all have a laugh about it. Of course I apologize and say “sorry man, you were asking for it”. And they brush it off with “hey man, as long as we win it’s all good”. It’s fair game, if they yoink me next time, well, I asked for it.

Just like Spartans during the age of antiquity, everything is fair game in war.
There is no honor code.

Except if you “stole” the football from your teammate at the 5 yard line to get a touchdown for yourself, you’d get boo’d off the field. You are stealing someone else’s glory and ruining their experience by being selfish. It’s completely legal, but considered taboo by many players.

This guy is really full of himself. Is he really justifying stealing someone else’s guaranteed kill? If you know people are going to get upset and you choose to do it anyways for a negligible gain of one kill and an angry teammate, then you are a borderline sadist.
