You can still support us with suppression fire and assists.
Just stop running around like a chicken with their head cut off expecting to turn things around.
Also, if you’re holding a power weapon, swap it so we can have it, you won’t be needing it.

When I’m doing terrible and then try to avoid engagements, it seems like I get more deaths. Not sure why.

probably playing it too safe putting yourself in bad situations.
I shoot people, it’s a relatively good strategy, I recommend it to all noobs.

I’m not really sure how you expect this to go anything but poorly.
Just because someone isn’t as good as you isn’t a reason for you to tell them to go hide in a corner. If you want to play with teammates you deem competent, get a team.
