error authorizing user with halo 5: guardians services. You will be unable to access online modes. Any one know how to fix this issue its really winding me up took me 40 hours to download the game and now I can’t even play it???
are you connected to xbox live? are only halo online modes are the problem?

I have the same problem, I reinstalled it 2 times and still didn’t work for me either and it’s really starting to bug me.
Having the same issue.
Spoke to one of Xbox support team on chat yesterday for about 1hour. And the best suggestion he had was power cycling. After he realised he was out of his depth he told me to wait for the problem to fix itself.
Same issue here. Haven’t (wasted the hours and hours it would take to) re-downloaded the game yet. Reset the xbone and launched the game from the xbox store…but still kept seeing the error message. I didn’t try multiplayer yet, but was able to play customs with friends and do co-op campaign.

I’ve had the same problem since launch day. It wouldn’t let me play coop or multiplayer from 5:30AM until 9PM. But any time after that I could play perfectly. It happens because your broadband has a ‘shield’ which restricts access to things which are deemed ‘inappropriate’. Microsoft messed up by letting Halo 5 slip into this category, I don’t know any other online games that do this, but as soon as I turned the shield off online started working perfectly. I’m with Sky and to turn of the shield you just have to go to their website and sign in with your sky ID and as soon as you turn it off it’s effective immediately.
