Attention 343 Industries: Request Contact Support

Hello,

Per a conversation with Microsoft Xbox One phone support, I have been directed to reach out to 343 Industries directly through this forum. I desire to have conversation with a member of 343 Industries customer support who can resolve customer issues. Microsoft Xbox One Support was unable to provide contact information for me other than this forum.

I would also like to receive contact of some sort as it has been weeks and I have been unable to play the Master Chief Collection online. Please Help it is an amazing game but I would love to be able to play online without receiving all these “can’t connect” errors

AS is per usual, Xbox Support have fobbed you off and told you to come here just to get rid of you. There is no 343 Customer support and Coming here to request contact will do nothing as this is a community forum made up of mostly regular player like you and me. 343 will not make contact with you on here, neither do they have access to any of your personal XBL account info.

Just to state again, Xbox Support told you to come here so they didn’t have to deal with you themselves. They do that a lot to many people (myself included).

Do you mean the person starting the thread or the Xbox Support trolling the person who started this thread?

The only thing I got out of support was:

  1. Remove installation, remove user, reset, add user back, install again. (Did nothing but waste lots of time.)
  2. "We will contact the developer etc etc and get back to you, etc. (Never heard back from them.)
  3. Asked if they could close the ticket as resolved [what support cares about]. (After they had not resolved the issue at all.)

So being told to contact the developer does not surprise me at all…

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but there isn’t any way to get a refund via the forums. If you bought a physical copy, you’ll have to return it to the store you purchased ffrom as your contact is with them. If you bought digital, Xbox Live Support are the folk you need to contact. 343 don’t have access to you accounts to refund any costs.

I can forgive the -Yoink- launch but there is absolutely no excuse for not having a support number/email/something.

This was not intended to be a troll thread, but it sure looks like that was the only thing that it accomplished.

After spending far too much time contacting Microsoft Support and having them insist on having me contact 343 through this forum, I wanted to document my struggle to try and get a refund for a physical copy of a game. It’s disappointing how many emails I have sent and how unwilling anyone from Microsoft support is to provide any direct 343 contact information.

We all know about the short-comings of the game and the lack of delivery on the clear expectations the community was sold on. Given the lack of satisfaction and the clear blunders, I (and most others) would believe a respectable company would offer refunds to those who feel deceived.

There is no accountability from 343 Industries. It seems like the only way you’ll get a response from 343 is if you file a lawsuit. As every day passes and more people are sold copies of a game that is beyond broken, you have to wonder if false advertisement claims and other types of legal action are an increasing option for the community to take against 343. It’s beyond the $60 that each individual spent, it’s about the collective millions that they have taken without any repercussions for failing to live up to the gameplay expectations they themselves sold us upon.

Pretty sad to think about, really.

Can u help me get a hold of 343. I ordered the limited collectors edition halo 5 and I’m seeing every where that it comes with a digital game and when I preordered the game in February it said it comes with the limited edition as well so I need to know if that’s is still true because I’m dropping a lot of money thinking I’m get a physical copy of game to. I’m a major fan have all the halo games including halo wars and Spartan assault and I don’t want to have to by another copy just to have the physical one. So please help me get a hold of them. Hi there, it’s best not to bump old topics, you should start your own topic in the support forums. To answer your question though, from what has been released so far, there is no physical disc with the LCE. Instead you get it early so that you can pre download and have it ready for release. LE and standard versions come with the physical disc.

This is going from the images that 343 released today, taking that as confirmation until they say otherwise

I am here to to ask for help or to remove my ban on halo 5. I was playing games last night in arena and when i got back on the next morning it says i have a ban for 4 days!!! When i have done nothing. I would appriciate it if u could message me some way on what i did do deserve the ban at least or remove it cause now i cant play at all.

Hello, my request is an update that may come to Halo 5 in the future.

Throughout the months, 343 has introduced Halo 5 with updates that many players find interest in, 343 even went as far as bringing back old remembered childhood memories like the Combat Evolved Magnum, Halo 2 Battle Rifle, the Brute Plasma rifle, the original Rocket Launcher, the recent Grenade Launcher and Halo 2 Beam Rifle, even some armor from past Halo’s.

343 has introduced a new enemy that’s called the “Grunt Goblin” and has even made entirely new vehicles like the Wasp and recent Anti-Air Wraith.

My most desired request is introducing the Spike and Flame Grenades, as seen in Halo 3, the Brute Shot and the Chopper vehicle and Mauler that is also seen in Halo 3. I figured that since 343 has introduced us to the Gravity Hammer and Brute Plasma rifle, why not more?
