attachment differences

I tried to find some exact data on the attachment in halo 5 but I couldn’t find any so I tried to figure out what they do gameplay wise! This is what I found out.

  • Long barrel increases the range of the red reticule slightly. - Laser tightens up the spread, I believe it functions as zoomed in while firing from the hip on a standard BR - Silencer reduces the sound wave range and reduces the visibility on enemy motion tracker when firing. I haven’t noticed how the radar is affected when a silencer is in play! - Stabilization jets makes the reticule feel more like CE. Removes the recoil from weapons, this will aid you for better aiming accuracy and is the best of the bunch in general! Is strongly noticeable on SMG and AR! - Bayonet is a one hit kill, longer melee range and a different melee animation. - kinetic bolts do more damage on vehicles and the core. I have no idea if any of these are correct but thats what I could guess by comparing them! I really want to know all about these attachments and especially the kinetic bolts!

My loadout combos

  • AR with jets and Recon BR with laser. - Recon BR with laser and Longshot BR with jets - kinetic SMG and Recon BR with laserI hope this will help any confusion about the attachments in this game and please let me know if I missed anything or if anything is wrong!
    Cheers xD

sentinel BR and Recon AR are my favs

the SMG with jets is amazing

hardlight and laser variants i am iffy about but i have only one version

the bayonettes are fun as -Yoink- to use but REQ lvl 8 makes them a mid to late game option so i tend to forget to use them

here is a great combo

Silenced weapons with Advanced Sensors armor mod makes you invisible on radar unless you are running/boosting

its sooooo much fun to use and you can even see ppl on radar that are crouched

Kinetic rounds also have more stopping power, ie. they will stop you from sprinting when hit.

Long barrel also decreases spread at range, because I’ve been able to get long shots much easier with the BR.

Silencer makes you not appear on radar at all when you fire. It’s not a reduction, it’s a removal. It also disperses the sound effect so it’s harder to tell direction if you use surround sound.

My general layout so far is this:
Req 2 > Kinetic AR rounds
Req 3 > swap Magnum with BR
Req 4 > Swap BR with Kinetic BR, swap Kinetic AR with SMG
Req 5 > Swap Kinetic BR with long barrel BR, swap SMG with silenced SMG, equip radar upgrade

That’s awesome! now I know what those things do! I wish they was more specific in the descriptions, they are somewhat unclear. Thanks for the info!
