Any ideas on how Escharum rose to lead the banished? Is Atroix killed off screen like they did the Didact in escalations?

I agree with this. Nothing as of now says he is the leader of the banished. If anything, he is the “captain” of this specific branch of the banished and is leading this front.
Gaaah. I dont want 343 to kill of Atriox as with the Didact and even Jul. It should be really epic, meaningful if so.
I however do hope he survives the madness in the galaxy. Hes not IMO evil at all. He just got fed the frikk up with the Covenant BS.
And I do hope we can get a temporary if not permanent alliance/ peace with the Banished. Get the diplomacy going or whaever. Because its truly needed for ages to come. The Flood is still out there, and… the created too and those subdued and froced to join them.
Atriox, Escherum, Pavium, Voridus, Decimus are all awesome and have great potential for to be likable, kinda sympathize with them or at least respect why they do what they do. All except Decium, which is dead. Something tells me Escherum got his position if not he was just another close in command as backup or even third in command.
Would love to see humans join the banished.
The insurrectionist gets help from the banished keeping the UNSC at bay and force them to accept that the Outer Colonies need better treatment. Would be interesting. If the Core worlds had been listening to the issues the Outer had, there would be no “civil war” and loss of millions.
UNSC kinda shot themself in the foot, especially if the Banished, sees the disgruntlment of the Insurrectionists and of all things see it as an opportunity to get humans be of use, if not symphatize with them.
We humans can show urself to be extremely savage if given the chance and with right tools. Berserkers anyone, hehe. Wouldnt mind a grand feast with both Jiralhanae, Kig Yars and even Sangheili, Unggoys etc. Imagine that. Real bro ( and sis )- atmosphere with alot of hefty drinks and heaps of delicioius meats and some vegs ( for freshness ) from hunts of wild beasts!! With trophies mounted in grand halls.
I think he is just one of the higher ups, Atriox is a cool villain, he is the embodiment of the banished l. hopefully wouldn’t do him dirty like that
