When you look at the Character selection area, you can se that Cutter is 4th, which suggests he is the leader of the UNSC faction in the game. Atriox is 2nd in the covenant part, suggesting that he is the right hand man of the leader of the banished. I think it is a banished prophet, what do you guys think?

Chief doesn’t command large forces and probably wouldn’t be very good at it.He could be an uber unit though.
I do not think that the placement of Characters has anything to do with who the true “Faction leader” is.
The text that goes with it seems to imply that the banished will be a new major power for the whole Halo universe, so I would be surprised if the only leader was a single Brute Chieftain.

Ah thats a good point I forgot this is set after Halo 5. A brute in a Mjolnir type suit has bad news written all over it lol.
Looking forward to this game’s campaign mode, it’s looking good so far.

Yea they can literally send the universe into brand new encounters and factions. Will be interesting to see how this plays out cannon wise.

They said he’s not above using any tools he finds, might be that they’ve simply scavenged UNSC equipment and repurposed it for themselves.

well there is no current arbiter probably. Maybe A Storm covenant faction. In particular i would like Flood and Cortana’s Created forerunner faction.

HW2 takes place right after Halo 5. Pretty sure Thel’Vadam is still Arbiter.
On the Ark now sooooo 343 Guilty Spark as a leader? Controlling forerunners? Would be cool.

What about weapon master Sanj’ Ik? I thought Ensemble would have plans for her and the original Brute Army Commander on their sequel… project may have failed but I think that being a gifted engineer she’d play a perfect nemesis for Anders.

Pretty sure he’s just taken the armor from his enemies (marines) and re-purposed it for his own use. Also sort of as a trophy and to intimidate others.
