If Atriox appeared in the upcoming Halo Infinite, is it possible that the character will keep the same design and appearance from Halo Wars 2? Or will he have an entirely new design and appearance in Halo Infinite?
If Atriox were to come back, then my guess is they’d keep his design overall the same to keep him recognizable as Atriox rather than a full blown redesign which would just confuse people. They might give him new armor maybe but I’d imagine he’d still look pretty close to how he was in Halo Wars 2. That being said the likelihood of him being in Infinite, much less as a major character, is pretty slim. I’d love to see him there but with three major antagonists already known (Escharum, the Harbinger, and Cortana) adding a fourth might be too many to keep track of unless the game is way longer than I’m expecting.

This is how I see it happened in the upcoming Halo Infinite. While Atriox will not be the main villain in the new Halo video game, his presence can be felt throughout the campaign levels. Atriox can follow in a similar way like how Emperor Palpatine appeared in Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back and Thanos appeared in Guardians of the Galaxy. It will be a very small role, but the presence can be felt throughout the story.

Hes in the trailer so we know his design already.
I dont think we see him beyond the truth halo 3 style holograms though.
Lots of dialogue suggest he is assumed dead also. Something I find a little strange.

Not really, people just took the “honor the will of Atriox” line and ran with that as a sign that he was dead. There’s really no other reason to believe he’s dead, especially if you’ve read Shadows of Reach.

After seeing the Halo Infinite campaign overview, I am starting to believe that we’re going to see Atriox appearing in the game. That is why I still think that there is going to be a post credit scene in Halo Infinite. I am thinking like a post credit scene where not only Atriox will appeared, it can also set up the next story where he will be the main villain in the Halo Infinite story expansions.

Not the only thing to suggest it though unless atriox is off ring. Seems an odd choice unless zeta a miss direct but what would he be after then. He hardly returned to the arc.
I’ve read every novel in the halo franchise.
TanEugene94They are intentionally making escharum the primary banished antagonist so j dont believe atriox in the flesh will be seen “in game”, like I said we have already seen his hologram in the trailer and a post credit scene to me isn’t an in game appearance just a post game cameo.
I expect he is off ring at the very least.

He’s not in the trailer?
Atriox appears in the trailer, and it looks the same as in Halo Wars 2
