Could atriox die in halo infinite?
Anyone could die. That may be the driving motivation for the Banished in Infinite, a belief that he is dead (despite likely still just being stuck on the Ark).
While 343 has some ambiguous taboos and actively avoid reusing antagonist, I don’t think they’ll kill off Atriox that quickly. Considering his shrewed and ruthless nature, I can imagine him faking his death to get the Banished in a frenzy to take advantage of the chaos throughout controlled space currently (hence their newfound hostility towards humanity in Halo Infinite).

They better not because he is an amazing villain but remember jul mdama yeah me neither they killed him so fast but atriox I think will be used well
Unless something funky happens in the upcoming Shadows of Reach novel, Atriox should still be stuck on the Ark. He might find a way to join up with the Banished forces on Zeta Halo, but I doubt 343 would just kill him off in his first appearance in a mainline Halo game. Dude is being set up as a major antagonist, so unless Infinite is a heck of a lot longer than we all think, Atriox should stick around for at least another game or two.

Leave it up to Chief.
If he does, it better not be in a damn cut scene. Either way, just because the Banished are in Halo infinite does not mean Atriox will be there.
He’s locked in battle with SOF on the Ark, and he only brought one ship which got blasted out of the sky.
I don’t think we’ll see him to be honest.
I agree with SovereignZechs. I don’t think we’ll be fighting atriox. I think we’ll be fighting one of his Generals, and Infinite will lay the groundwork for us to fight him in the next game.
I doubt we are fighting Atriox in Infinite, and I don’t think he’s been killed off screen either, I think the general/captain in the trailer, who I’m assuming is Hyperius, thinks Atriox is dead after the destruction of the Enduring Conviction and seeks revenge for it.
I desperately hope Atriox does not die in Infinite. I’d rather he pull a Prophet of Truth or Gravemind and not appear in Infinite at all. He could be referenced, maybe even have a cameo like Palpantine does in Empire, but I’d rather save him until after the Cortana conflict. I don’t need another Didact / Jul 'Mdama / Warden Eternal situation.

it is too early to say we will see in Halo Infinite
As much as I think it would be amazing to see Atriox, I don’t think he’ll be dead, and nore do I think he’ll appear in person.
He’s a good villain set up for the Halo Wars series, he brings an intresting dynamic that keeps us wanting to come back to the Halo Wars story. If he dies some time before Infinite, or durring, than that dynamic is lost for any future Halo Wars games. Even if we play a future game where we kill Atriox in Halo Wars we still would already see it coming given any sort of mention in Infinite.
I’m sure he’ll be safe for now, he and Captain Cutter have many battles left in them.
Inb4 343 kill him off in the second mission of the game.
Atriox could die later on but I think he won’t because he is a really good fighter
