If that offends you then don’t buy it. I guess I’m weird in that I don’t mind supporting the developers on something that I really enjoy if they are offering more content but if your still on halo waypoint, 5+ months after the games release, clearly they did a few things right. The way I rationalize it to myself is “If I play a game for more hours then dollars I spent on it, it was worth it” I know I have spent well over 80 hours on this game and I will definitely spend more than 20 after the expansion. I am going to buy the expansion, enjoy it, and not have any second thoughts about it.

Didn’t change anything. Said we’d get 6 leaders and a Campaign expansion. As of McGrunty Ungogyyson we’ll have that. Considering if you bought ultimate edition for 15 pounds more then the base game you basically got DE and Season pass for 7.50 each. That’s each leader £1 and maps £1.50. Even if you got it seprate it’s what, 20 quid? That’s like 3 quid a leader and 2.50 per expansion mission. Expecting Awakening to be free is greedy.

I know I was one of the haters about it not being in the season pass at the start, but now it just seems like they are beating a dead horse. Just save up the money like I did and buy it when it comes out, stop complaining, you get Yapyap THE DESTROYER in the season pass, that in itself is enough for me.

I’m not going to argue this with you because its in then last 44 pages but its extremely clear that you did not read my objection because it has NOTHING to do with price.
Mark me surprised that it’s not included. The industry has realised paid DLC is not the way to go as it splits the playerbase, and it safe to say HW2 does not have a strong player base. This makes it worse. They should’ve included it for SP holders.

“Grow your war chest with the Halo Wars 2 Season Pass. The Season Pass delivers regular updates that span more than six months, including: New Leaders with abilities that change the course of multiplayer matches, new Units that add to your multiplayer arsenal, new Blitz cards to collect and take into battle, and new campaign missions that expand the Halo Wars 2 story.”
What’s your issue then? You got exactly what you paid for. Your objection is what exactly?

The maps are free, only the campaign and leaders cost money.

they changed the wording of their own season pass after many purchased it (myself included) then did not tell their customers of the change. For reference they changed the “and new campaign missions” and it used to state a “campaign expansion” was included now as far as I’m aware the only thing that has ever been called an expansion is ATN whearas spearbreaker has clearly been labeled (by 343i) as additional campaign missions which would fit their changed description much better

This is the whole point of the discussion. What I dont understand is if this too difficult to get? I have written that so many times and still people keep coming with but the content is okay etc etc.
Its not the content. Its also not that we dont get that you have to pay people to get then such a content drop done. Its not that we dont appreciate it.
Its all about that you sell an Ultimate Edition for 90 € with a Season Pass and dont tell people that this could be labeled a Leader Pass, that major extra content is coming excluded from the Season Pass.
In a lawsuit you would ask this question: Would this infornation have a relevance for the sells of the season pass if it would have been known earlier? Definitively YES. Now this practice becomes a very shady one.
I had preordered my Ultimate Edition in December 2016, before any changes in the wording. Is it a usual practice in the US that customers read a product description buy it and then have to constantly track word changes in this description?
Microsoft has itself paid billions for abusing their market position in Europe, so it is not really a totally new thing to expect here. Sadly.

So your arguing new campaign missions and campaign expansion, as in mission(s) that expand the campaign, as in new campaign missions are not the same thing? You got a campaign expansion. They could have left the wording alone and still released ATN without there being an issue.

Clap clap clap you were able to read and respond to the second half of my post now try the first half. If I was your English teacher I would give your comprehensive reading skills a failing grade.

Games have only gotten harder and more expensive to make yet the price of a new game hasn’t even changed for inflation. To account for how much work they have to put into, they put in micro-transactions and DLC with added content with the idea that “if someone likes this game, maybe they will spend more money if we develop more of it”.

There wasn’t anything worth responding to in your first half. So they changed the wording? That’s like if they changed the wording of Halo 5 from “A FPS game” to “A first person shooter” and then crying that they totally changed what they said you was buying.
Edit: Which now I mention it, looking back I think that was the entire point of my first reply?
Won’t get into the personal attacks kid, they’re only embarrassing you. Maybe edit them out and save some face.

Time out, many people that are frequents on this thread will know I’m not one that has an issue with ATN, the season pass, or the wording change.
But I do have to advocate for Gen F0rerunner here. The change from expansion to “additional missions” could have been misleading for some and affected their purchase.
I may not agree with F0rerunner, but he does have a valid point.

It might of I suppose, but I do also fail to see the difference between expansion and additional missions. Personally I would read those two things as exactly the same. Hell, cold storage in h3 was a multiplayer expansion despite being 1 map.
