If ATN sells very well maybe there’s a small chance more DLC would come but I doubt it.
The game would have enough leaders and paid maps would split the playerbase so I don’t know what they could do for DLC.

That’s some wishful thinking. I never thought I’d be a bit disappointed preordering a Halo game (well I haven’t played since Reach), but I’d wait it out a bit before buying more stuff for Halo Wars. A reskinned firefight mode, two new apes who might be garbage, and an extra hour or two of campaign might not be worth the hefty price tag. Unconditional support has gone out the window for this game with me. They’ve already gotten what they wanted out of us with the base game purchase alone.

It’s only because they didn’t plan on making it in the first place - they planned and released Halo Wars 2 before knowing they were for-sure going to make a full-blown expansion. If anything, they did what we wish developers would start doing again; think of and develop post-launch content AFTER the game is launched.
So… even if it was included with the season pass, then the season pass would’ve costed $20 more. (maybe a SLIGHT discount). You’re still getting what you paid for.
40 pages and going dame 343 just give season pass holders a discount for ATN and there ya go.

Promotion over Fans, it’s the way companies work sadly. I understand they gotta make some money too, but at the same time they gotta do it fairly. Not how they went about it at E3 or long ago during the selling of the season pass. I don’t wanna say I’ve simmered down quite yet over the situation, it’s not gonna go away though, my head still spins every time I see AtN mentioned. E3 to the community was a sad joke, one 343 didn’t intentionally intend on (at least I’d hope lol)

I agree. I was hoping for a real “We’re sorry guys” or a justification as to why it’s gonna cost the full $20. Information and Integrity :,)

At this point we now know more about Spearbreaker than ATN
