I say let it burn. “Leaving it be” will just send a message so 343i keeps using micro transactions and shady “pass” technics to make more money on half made game. Stake holder up roar is the only thing that will make them go back to solid complete games without cheap money tactics.

Yeah! Why not? I think all the Season Pass owners who have bought the game on average for 90$ / 90€ should pay 50$ extra fhe new coming content which was clearly described and mentioned when we bought the season pass and also in the description it didnt say campaign expansion for season pass owners. All the communitys fault.
And at the evening we all sit together hold hands and sing kumbaya. Why not.

Don’t see you in top 250 in deathmatch, you play blitz or whatever will get you more blitz packs, so when you rank in deathmatch let me know! Again blitz, also f rank there is not even in game leaderboards, there is no point. Also you won’t make it to top rushing tech.

I hope it has. I have never eyperienced something more shady, dishonest and sneaky. And we speak here of a multi-billion sales company whos owner and publisher is Microsoft.
If they would have been more honest it wouldnt be that bad.
I think we can all agree on the topic that we all appreciate more content coming for Halo Wars 2 and that they still work on it, but the practice of selling a season pass and then releasibg the promised real campaign expansion for extra money is just customer fraud.

I really dont care what you play or not but dont argue with people out there in the world who perhaps have more experience in what they are doing or playing or not.

Currently I am Worldranked #4 in 1v1s with CSR ~2,200 and 2v2s #4 with CSR ~ 2,185.
And what I dont get is you play Blitz you play DM thing. It just everybodys own free decision what he plays and what not.

I can agree/see where you’re coming with most of what you said, except for this part.
ATN was never planned to be part of the season pass, Grim shared that on Reddit. So it isn’t the promised campaign expansion.
But I do understand the frustration from “campaign expansion” to “campaign missions”.

Let me clear that thing with the microtransactions a bit. If you have been doing the dailys and weekly challenges, played the campaign, your units will be around the level 5-7 mark. Officially level 6 units are being described as tournament quality. There is no real difference between level 6 and level 10 units.
All what is important in Blitz is helding the bases while managing to get the energy drops. If you play an opponent who has lvl 50 units and you have lvl 6 units you are still the winner, when you can get the energies, because you are then able to build for every unit he is building your counter units. And every counter unit is so much stronger than any high leveled unit.
You could go ahead and put also a mathematical approach to unit. Where to lvl 6 all level increases have an incredibly high slope in increasing the unit efficiency after level 6 the slope is getting back to a constant slope of 1% while at the same time the amount of collected cards is increasing which are needed to level the unit.
So everybody who has lvl 6 units is totally fine.
Another example: smallreddude1 has never purchased Blitz packs and he is worldranked #2 ind 1v1s and worldranked #1 in 2v2s.
Blitz is just a bit more fast paced and all single units matter. I dont see a gigantic skill difference between an high-skilled dm & blitz player.
I find it really strange and simultaneously amusing that despite this topic having so many consistent replies, it still hasn’t made the front page of the forums for being a trending topic. Pretty blatant that 343 Industries doesn’t like when we bring up their bate and switch sales tactics, half promises and sometimes blatant lies. Even so, hopefully after enough people speak up about how they only bought the season pass under the understanding that they would be getting all the DLC they will rethink their strategy. Or hopefully someone can attempt to bring legal action against 343i. They don’t have to win, the point would be more of getting their shady business tactics publicized.

It’s not so blatant when they directly discuss the matter in the Community Update.
